Spurs looking for a new manager following the departure of Jose Mourinho mid-season after completing 17 months. Former player Ryan Mason has been appointed as interim coach as Club Chief Daniel Levy is looking for a long term replacement trying to bring the success their desire brining the first trophy in many years.
Spurs were looking towards Julian Nagelsmann but the latter opting for FC Bayern following the departure of Hansi Flick. So we are looking at potential candidates to replace him:
The former Juventus man is currently out of the work after been sacked by the Old Lady and is rumoured that Levy is interested in appointing Sarri to the position.
2. Ralf Rangnick:
Former Red Bull chief was previously considered for the job after Harry Redknapp departed in 2012 but lost out to Andre Villas-Boas and this time he is being seriously considered for the job.
3. Massimiliano Allegri:
Allegri has been out of job ever since he left the job at left at Juventus in 2019 after having won 5 Serie’A’s and reaching 2 Champion’s League finals. According to Football London, Allegri is highly thought of at Spurs but his lack of English is said to be a concern.
4. Rafael Benitez:
The former Newcastle boss is also on the list of Levy to replace Jose. According to reports, Benitez is keen on taking up a job at Premier League Club and Spurs are topping the list.
5. Brendan Rodgers:
The Leicester City Boss has been doing a fabulous job at Leicester and is a potentially candidate to replace Jose. However negotiating with Leicester City Board can be a tricky battle with the club in no intention of letting him go
The likes of Graham Potter, Scott Parker, Eddie Howe and Nuno Espirito Santos are also being considered but their experience at the top level can play the difference.
